Our Mission & Vision
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur (AIIMS Raipur) was established in 2012 under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary healthcare and to provide excellent medical education in the state of Chhattisgarh.
The institute is spread over a 162-acre campus in Tatibandh, Raipur, and functions as a fully autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Our vision is to emerge as a global leader in medical education, research, and patient care, with a focus on innovation and community service.
We handle over 1.2 million outpatient visits and more than 60,000 inpatient admissions annually, offering super-specialty services that were previously inaccessible to the population of this region. Our patient-centric approach integrates advanced technology with compassionate care.
